Sunday Morning Shoot

First of all let me take a second to thank a co-photographer that lent a helping hand to me this morning. I couldn't have done it with out you, so, thanks Chick. And a special thanks to Mr. & Mrs. McElhany for letting us take over your B-E-A-UTIFUL home this morning.
So my friend Jodi keeps talking about getting family pics done but she mentioned that she doesn't take "good" pictures. Well by looking at these I haven't found anything wrong with her and the kids........................GoRgEoUs!!!!!!!!!! I told my husband that I had been swept off my feet by a 3ft tall gentleman:) Cole is the sweetest most kind hearted child I know. Every time I felt someone staring at me from the side....it was him.LOL He told me that I smelled pretty!!! OMG!!!, how adorable !!!!!!!!!! Oh, ya back to what I was doing.........anyway, we came out with some really great shots. Kevin and Jodi-thanks for meeting with me today. you guys did great!! I'll be seeing soon.

Now this was family that was down from Kansas City, which by the way, I have family that lives in Belton:) They decided that since we were going to be there they might as well have a mini shoot of their own. I am so glad they did!! Mrs.V let it slip that they have NEVER had pictures taken. So I am very honored that I was able to do this for them.
Mr.B & Mrs.V- thanks for being up for anything!! I really enjoyed what little time we had with you guys. This first image is my fave. I hope you guys have a great trip and let me know if there is anything I can do for you!!

The Church Family

Wow, when we first started this shoot the wind was so chilling it felt like it was cutting right through me!!!! But after a few it died down and wasn't so bad. Through it all these guys worked through it like champs. This little fella had other things on his mind other than picture taking. He was so busy trying to get on the ground that even Taylor's crazy sounds and faces weren't stopping him :) But I managed to sneak away with a few aWeSome shots!! You guys did great!!! Lindy, the outfits were perfect!!! Thank you for driving the distance and meeting me. Here are just a few of my picks. I will see you soon!!!!
OH!!!,P.S. Hey Mr. C the kissing shot..........................MY FAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha

Thanksgiving Thank You!!

I would like to stop and take a minute to thank each and every client and friend I have encountered since I've started this fulfilling journey. Photography has brought such a joy and passion to my life. To me when I look through that lens I see an innocent, creative world. I love just sitting, watching and waiting for that unscripted moment in time when the children don't think your watching, when a couple give each other that glance of passion or when a mom looks at an image with tears and says...."that's the one!!" Those moments are what make my job worth wild!! That old saying "It doesn't matter how much you get paid if your doing something you love." Well I never fully understood it until I started photography. So Thank You!!! I could not do what I love to do without you!! Thank You! Thank You! And Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!:)

I have a thing for Red Heads!!

It was cold but that wasn't stopping these two. They ran and played, stop for a flash or two, then ran some more. I was a little worried about it being too cold but they did "amazing!!"
God knew exactly what he was doing when he molded this pair, the deep red hair coupled with those piercing blue eyes......WOW!! Mom you are in for some trouble in those teen age years with these two. Taylor had a lot of fun and says hi:)
Thanks for meeting with me!! I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving. Your book will be in soon. I'll be in touch!!!

Beautiful Fall *Reminder*

I l-o-v-e this weather, well, honestly my favorite time is summer but fall comes a close second. Fall time gives us colors that are gorgeous and naturally beautiful. The wind might have a bit of a chill at times but for the most part its perfect for picture taking. So now is the time to stop procrastinating and get those family pictures done!! Even if all you do is grab your compact dig.camera, drag those kids and husband outside and snap some shots, then so be it. At least your family will have something memorable to cherish later on. It's worth it I promise.
Ok, I must brag abit. These two were "pulled" outside to do their quick fall pictures and 10minutes into it they were both having so much fun I couldn't make them stop smiling. Yes, Yes, I know they are b-e-a-utiful. Thank You!! Thank You!!(They take after me;))HA HA
But seriuosly, give me a call and I will help you "create and capture."
