This shot was for a three or more assignment. I wanted mine to be rockish...not your normal portrait. I think I accomplished that!! Thanks to the first semester crew for letting us drag you around and thanks to my happy little light holder helper...Elly Stewart :}

Blonde Elly

I shot Elly last week for an assignment we were given for studio. Elly has been my model quite a few times in the past couple semesters. She is just fabulous!!

First Video

This was my first attempt at a video. Our assignment was to shoot something-anything of our choice, so I thought of this idea. We were to not have any audio from the video clips and the song, well I wasn't sure if it could have vocals or not so I chose to just do acoustic. This is a really short clip, I think about 2-3 minutes.
I am the "turd in the punch bowl at senior prom" because unlike most of the other students my camera isn't video capable. I was forced to do this with a home camcorder that belongs to our instructor Kelly Kerr. Thanks for lending it to me, Kelly!!
I also would like to say thank you to Chris Lenardo for allowing us to shoot in his place of business and for being such a good sport and participating in the making of this clip. Plus I couldn't have completed the editing process with all my hair, lol, without my little friend, Elly Stewart, thanks Girl!! And last but not least, a BIG thanks goes out to Ashley and Michael for being at my beck and call!!

This was shot for a fashion assignment. Yes, this is Shay, my assistant. She flipped rolls and learned what it felt like to model and how hard it really can be, lol!! I wished we could have had more time because, as you can see, she's a natural!!

These images just warm my heart! These were taken by my little lady Taylor!!

We were driving to school yesterday when she looked over and said "Mom, where is your camera? I see something I want to shoot!!" So I just handed it to her...she asked me a few questions and away with the shutter she went!! uuugggghhhhh My little Love Muffin :)

Then lastnight on our way home she took over the camera again. By the time we got home she was following the movement and lighting of the moon and sunset. So we set up the tripod and she did some experimenting. She did awesome so I wanted to showcase her "work" lol! She is super pumped that she's on the internet, lol!

Chickasha Couple Part 2

Part 2 of 2!! This second series shows more of their interaction between eachother. At times I think they forgot all about me, which was awesome!!!! I was just along for the ride :} Theres a few I REALLY adore but I will leave those just for their viewing.

Chickasha Couple

Awe!! Where to even start with these two :} I love them both so much and to see how much they love one another just burst my heart! He headed off to Germany just two days ago. So when they called and wanted me to come down...I went!! I did not want to miss this opportunity! He already had the railroad scene in mind and I had a few ideas bouncing around too, so we worked together and came out with some really awesome images.
Thanks so much for humoring me on some ideas, I think they all turned out amazingly!
We shot these on Monday-they up and got married on Wednesday-and he was shipped out on Saturday! Wow I can't even imagine the emotion that filled their last week together.
But soon she will be able to be with him. They will continue their love affair and start their lives out in Germany! What an amazing way to begin!
Now!! This is just a few of the easy ones I wanted to get out of the way, lol, because I know how patiently you have been waiting. So this post will be a two part series!!

Celebrating 1

This is my little nephew, Chase! He has the biggest softest cheeks ever!! We took these at around 630 in the evening so it was still amazingly hot!! He is white as a ghost so in some of the frames his little cheeks are bright red from the heat and sun!! He didn't seem to be bother by any of it. He ran, laughed, screamed....I could eat him up!!!
